Introducing the First Themed Month

We’re launching a new feature here at SF Novelists: Themed Months. Which is to say, we’ll pick a topic — broad enough yet concrete enough that there are many different things to say about it — and throughout the month, members of SF Novelists will post their thoughts. It’s basically a slow-motion roundtable, and we invite you all to participate in the comments.

Our first theme is Rural vs. Urban: Fight! Well, maybe not the “fight” part. Members of the group recently got into a discussion about small towns and cities, the stereotypes about them, the differences between them, errors and assumptions that make us tear our hair out, etc. For the month of August, we’ll be bringing that discussion to you. Stay tuned for the first installment!
