Well, no, that's not exactly true; now I find it very useful to write a synopsis and use it as a road map when I actually then write the story. But the actual writing of the synopsis is a royal bitch, and I don't think it will ever get any easier. Ever. Gah. I wish I didn’t have to write a synopsis.
